You might’ve seen the new Precocial logo on Mari’s newest design lately and probably have been asking “well, what’s the meaning?” If you know us you know that our company is more than just a clothing company, it is branded and advertised behind Mari’s actual life as being blue collar and self-sufficient. Understanding that everything is earned, nothing deserving is actually given. Though we give a voice to the blue collar people who worked hard and got it out the mud, including them in our endeavors is why we go by the name The Self-Sufficient Club. The word Precocial is an adjective that describes young animals of the bird species like ducklings or fawns, that are born with their eyes open and are able to feed themselves shortly after hatching. It coincides with being self-sufficient. We look forward to putting our new Precocial theme on many more future designs to come.
